Is your website bringing you customers?
Most small businesses have no idea. Each month we sit down with your numbers together, in plain English: who found you, who got in touch, and what to change so you get more clicks, more contacts and more work.

How it works
Every month I put together a short report on how your business shows up on Google and AI search. Then we go through it together. It's a working session, not a document to file away.
In it, we:
- See what happened. How many people saw your business in Google, how many clicked through, and how that compares with the month before.
- See what they searched for. The actual searches that brought people to you, and the ones where you're close to page one.
- Count who got in touch. Recorded phone taps, email clicks and form messages from your website.
- Check what AI assistants say about you. Whether tools like ChatGPT and Gemini mention your business when people ask about what you do.
- Improve clicks and contacts. Decide what to change on your site and listings so more of the people who find you get in touch, and I make the changes.
- Look for ways to grow. New services, areas or customers the searches are telling us about.
- Agree what's next. Three clear priorities, and anything I need from you.

Monthly Growth Report
Sample Local Business · 2 September – 5 October 2026 · 34 days against the 34 before
The month in three sentences. More people clicked through from Google than in any period we have tracked: 48 clicks against 25, visits from Google search up from 51 to 66, and 14 recorded enquiries against 9. Google showed the site less often (6,639 appearances, down from 8,189), but higher up for the searches that matter, so fewer appearances turned into more visits. The tables below show where the next gains are.
What this means
The site is turning searches into visits. Fewer Google appearances, but nearly twice the clicks. Average position improved from 25th to 21st.
Local pages are the bright spot. The page for the home suburb holds a page-one position and was seen far more often. Pages written for one suburb and one service win the searches that matter.
Broad city-wide searches drifted. They slipped a few places. Rankings drift when a site stands still, which is why the plan puts fresh pages against them.
Change is against the same length of time immediately before. Enquiries are recorded taps on the phone number and form on the website, not confirmed jobs.

What AI assistants say
The same three customer questions, put to a web-searching AI assistant.
| Question asked | You? | Named instead |
|---|---|---|
| Best [service] in [city] | ✗ | Competitor A |
| Who does [service] in [suburb] | ✗ | Competitor B |
| Commercial [service] [city] | ✗ | Competitor C |
Assistants find local businesses through suburb pages and directory listings, so that's where the work goes.
Where you rank
Positions 1–10 are page one, where nearly every click happens.
| [service] [city] | #12 |
| [service] installation [city] | #17 |
| [service] installers [city] | #22 |
| [service] companies [city] | #22 |
| [service] options [city] | #34 |
| [service] quote [city] | #35 |
Three opportunities we see right now
Fresh pages for city-wide searches
The broad searches show the site often but low down. A dedicated page for each main service, written for the city, is the usual fix.
Worth: more of the biggest searches moving toward page one.
Needs: nothing from you.
More Google reviews
Reviews decide who gets the call from the map. A QR code and short link let a happy customer leave one from a card or an invoice.
Worth: more calls and map enquiries.
Needs: a short list of recent happy customers.
A service few competitors cover
Searching the area shows one service with almost no dedicated pages from local competitors. A single good page can own it.
Worth: enquiries from a search few others are answering.
Needs: nothing from you.
Next month: three priorities
- City-wide service pages. The first dedicated pages for the main services, indexed within two weeks. From you: nothing, this one is ours.
- Google listing and reviews. Review requests to recent customers, a review QR code and short link, and an up-to-date listing. From you: a short list of recent happy customers.
- One open-field page. A page for a service local competitors barely cover. From you: confirm you want to promote this service.
Sample only. Figures were measured for a real client; none are projected. Enquiries are recorded website taps, not confirmed sales.
Customers now ask AI who to call
More people are asking ChatGPT, Gemini and Google's AI answers questions like "who's the best electrician near me?" or "who can fix my business IT on the island?" Whichever businesses get named win the call, and the others never find out they were left out.
Each month I ask those assistants the questions your customers would ask, and show you whether you're named, who is, and what would help you appear. I can't promise a mention. I can show you where you stand, and work on improving it.
Why it matters for profit
A customer who already searches for what you do is the cheapest customer you'll ever win. If your site isn't showing up, or is showing up but not getting calls, that's money going to a competitor. The report finds where it's leaking, and the work that follows fixes it.
It's not a sales pitch and there are no ranking guarantees. Search results move, and enquiries are counted taps and messages, not confirmed sales. You'll see the real numbers, including the months they go the wrong way, and what I'm doing about it.
Who it's for
Businesses with a website that want more customers from Google, whether you're on Stradbroke Island, in the Redlands or across Brisbane. If you don't have a website yet, we can start there.
