"What's wrong with my email?"
Sometimes it sends, sometimes it doesn't. A client swears they never got your quote. The attachment bounced. Your phone shows different mail to your computer. And the "mailbox full" warning is back.
That window is Claude Desktop — on your computer
The picture above isn't a support chat with me. It's Claude Desktop — a full AI assistant — running on your own computer. Anyone can download Claude; what makes it useful here is what I connect to it: your mail logs, and a complete, always-current copy of your email.
You ask in plain English — "did my quote actually send?", "why do my emails keep bouncing?" — and Claude answers from your own records, on the spot. That's the product: your own AI, with real tools behind it, and me behind those. Here's the full picture.
It's usually one of a handful of things
- A mailbox that's actually full — years of mail and attachments hitting a limit nobody remembers agreeing to.
- A setup that was half-migrated years ago — old settings still fighting new ones, or an old phone still connecting with an old password and locking the account.
- Your messages landing in spam — often because of a domain setting your business has never heard of, quietly wrong for years.
- The provider itself — outages, limits, or a mail host that was cheap for a reason.
Email looks simple and is actually plumbing — and half-fixed plumbing fails on the day it matters. The expensive version of this problem isn't inconvenience; it's the quote request that silently never arrived.
Answers on the spot — plumbing fixed properly
The split is the point: Claude answers instantly, I get called when it matters. "Did it send?", "where did that email go?", "why the bounce?" — answered from your own mail logs the moment you ask, with a complete local copy of your mail behind it so nothing is ever simply gone. The fixes that need admin keys — domain settings, provider changes, migrations — are my half: Claude sends me what it saw, and I fix the plumbing so it stays fixed.
Fix it now
Tell me what it's doing — or not doing — and I'll trace it properly. Verdict first, then the fix.
